First of all the decor is wonderful, creative, outstanding. It's boat oriented since this is located in LIghthouse Pt. There are two large boat transoms over the bar. This is not typical decor it's boat theme but done in very good taste. It's themed for The Venetian Isles, the other name for Lighthouse Point, where every other person lives on the water and/or has a boat. The place is new and immaculate.

The owner, who you will see there almost all the time is, Melanie, a very young, attractive gal who certainly euns a tight ship, err bar, restaurant. She opened in November of 2008 the week end of a huge storm. Despite this obstacle ( she lost a fortune in frozen food) as soon as the electric was back on the place was packed on any given evening and especially on the week ends. But, don't worry there is ample room you won't be standing around waiting for a table and you can always hang at the pristine bar.

The food is excellent, very interesting hot wings, grilled seafood. Seafood Ciopinno ( only $15.99), Fish and Chips ($16.99). Fish and Chips in Beer Batter ($14.99). Your fish can be blackened, francais, livornesca or grilled. It's your choice.

Pick a pasta for only $10.99. Want something lighter get a sandwich, Reuben, Melanie's Grilled Veggie, Wahoo's Tuna, Or Big Dog. Create your own salad from 23 different items and add Chicken, Srimp, Mahi or Tuna (when available). You can choose 6 combinations and add more for .75 per additional add on plus choose from10 dressings. The salads run only $6-$10.00.

Entrees take up almost an entire page with traditional firsts plus Hummus from the Homeland($6.99), Wahoo Daily kabobs with catch of the day or stuffed portabello mushroom, herb crusted ($10.99).

You can order delicious home made soups or Chili.

Don't forget to ask about the Hospitality card, the more you eat there the more you earn a free meal.
