Wait... For He Has Promised

God's Promises Are True

kath huertas
God has a promise for you and for me,
A covenant that is truly meant to be,
Truly God knows the desires of your heart;
A desire to give the glory to our God.

God is forever faithful and true to His promises,
Sometimes we're not aware because they just passes,
Like a smooth sailing wind during spring time,
Giving you a feeling of gladness all the time.

People demand answers right away,
Thinking that their time is taken away,
But don't be fooled, oh, yes my friend,
'Cause you will meet His answers along your way.

Be still and quietly wait for the answers God has prepared,
For our God is the Lord of everything
He will respond to you in His own perfect time....
...so better be still and patiently wait.

Kath...this is just so wonderful. I know that about every Christian I know goes thru what is called, "the dark night of the soul" & what I have discovered (almost 60!) is that when God is most silent, is when He is most active behind the scenes. Like the Footprints in the Sand story. Great write friend. You're so good & such a blessing. : - )

And, of course, faith tells us that each of God's promises is fulfilled ... the catch is sometimes that we, as humans, have not understood them correctly, flawed that we are!
