John McCain tells us how he has the answers to dig the country out of its problems. He also tells us how bad his opponent is for the country.
Barack Obama tells us how he has the answers to dig the country out of its problems. He also tells us how bad his opponent is for the country.
Both seem to be claiming to be the agent of change. These two can't change a dollar let alone the country.
Who do we believe? Do we believe Obama who has political and financial ties to Ayers, Rezko, Newman, Soros, and Al-Mansour. Do we believe in the man who was the executive director of ACORN's voter registration arm, Project Vote. ACORN, in case you don't know, is at the heart of a voter registration scandal that is going on in many states, including my own. Can we afford to not vote for Obama because James Carville hints that if Obama doesn't win in November that there will be rioting in the streets.
Do we believe McCain, who picked an unknown for his Vice Presidential running mate, who is a self proclaimed maverick and spent so many years in the Hanoi Hilton that we may never be sure whether or not he is the Manchurian Candidate. McCain has consistently voted with the Democrats in the legislature. How can we even remotely consider him a conservative. He is at best a moderate. At worst he might as well be running on the same ticket as Obama.
The difference between McCain and Obama since they are both wolves in sheep's clothing is that McCain is a Democrat pretending to be a RepublIcan and Obama is a Socialist pretending to be a Democrat.
As far as the Obama/Biden and McCain/Palin tickets, who doesn't bear at least some responsibility for where the state of the economy is currently sitting. Three of those names are sitting members of congress and the fourth is not. Palin is the only one who is not an insider to Washington. So, Obama, Biden, and McCain all bear some responsibility for the economy.
Obama sued Citibank under the Community Reinvestment Act to force the bank to make risky loans while claiming racism for their reluctance to make the loans. How is forcing banks to make risky loans good for the economy? It isn't. Accusing the bank of racism for not wanting to make the risky loans is itself racism.
McCain may be a veteran but his attack on the swift boat veterans is less than honorable. He wasn't there and had no first hand knowledge. His stay in the Hanoi Hilton is coming back to haunt him. He was against domestic drilling for oil when it wasn't popular with the soccer moms. Now he wants to drill drill drill our way out of debt. His claims to have blown the whistle on Fannie and Freddie two years ago are hollow. If he had the clout to get something done it would have been done two years ago. What makes anyone think he will have any more clout sitting in the Oval Office.
I don't see either of these turkeys as a full thanksgiving dinner. They are both lacking in presidential ability. The leader of this country needs to be the eagle not a turkey.
We as citizens need to wrench control of this country away from the Democrats and Republicans and balance the government by electing more Independents and Libertarians. What this does is it forces all parties to work for the common good or accomplish nothing and sometimes accomplishing nothing is better than what they have been doing.
Don't Rock The Vote. Rock The Boat.
