Car won't start, I guess it's just as well
Seems like this land is stuck in a deep frost
Used to know where I was, now I'm lost
But I guess I ain't got much cause to complain
Everybody seems to have it 'bout the same
Looking for what's up around the bend
Waiting for the sun to shine again
Fetched the paper, snow was on my shoes
Bird on a wire singing out the blues
I know how he feels, I feel it too
So damn cold with nothing much to do
But I guess the snow is better than the rain
Everybody seems to have it just the same
Looking for what's up around the bend
Waiting for the sun to shine again
They say back in the winter of 1778
They were cold like now and facing a cruel fate
George and the boys were starving and half dead
A country unborn hanging on a thread
But from what I hear, they didn't much complain
Or pack it in and throw away the game
Looking for the tide to turn for them
Waiting for the sun to shine again
So I guess I ain't got much cause to complain
Everybody seems to have it just the same
Looking for what's up around the bend
Waiting for the sun to shine again

I'm ready for the sun, too. I can't wait to dip my toes in the Jekyll Island sand.
I have a cold right now. If I'm going to be sick, I feel like this is the time to do it. I don't feel like I am missing out on anything because nobody here wants to go outside!!! ;-)
