Like all of the other Walgreens Cafe W products I have eaten, this frozen pizza is a high quality product. Presented here, is one food writer's product review of the Walgreens Cafe W Self Rising Crust Pepperoni Pizza.
Size
The net weight of the standard sized Walgreens Cafe W Self - Rising Crust Pepperoni Pizza is 28.8 ounces (816 grams). According to the product's nutrition facts label, this pizza provides six 1/6 pizza (136 grams) servings.
In physical size, this is a big pizza pie. This 12 inch pie is roughly the same size as most small sized pizzas served at pizza restaurants.
Price
As far as I know, the Walgreens Cafe W Self Rising Crust Pepperoni Pizza is a new product. The only price I have seen charged for this pizza is the sale price of $3.99 that I recently paid for one of these pies.
As with every other Walgreens Cafe W food product I have tried, this pizza is just as good as, if not better than, similar, name brand products, but its price is significantly lower than the other brands.
Texture / Consistency
This frozen pizza features a pleasing consistency that is very comparable to much higher priced, name brand frozen pizzas. The crust, which self rises as the pie cooks in the oven, is soft and chewy, yet appropriately- firm.
Just the right amount of tomato sauce and cheese is featured on the Walgreens Cafe W Self Rising Crust Pepperoni Pizza and a generous amount of pepperoni blankets the pie. The overall mouth feel offered by this frozen pizza is quite appealing.

Taste / Flavor
The flavor offered by the Walgreens Cafe W Self - Rising Crust Pepperoni Pizza is actually quite excellent. On a regular basis, I purchase and consume many different brands and styles of frozen pizzas. To me, this Walgreens brand frozen pie tastes every bit as good as much higher priced, name brand frozen pizzas.
The crust on this pie features a pleasant and fresh - tasting flavor that is reminiscent of pizza parlor style pies. When the pie is heating, the aroma reminds me of freshly baked bread. The tomato sauce on this pizza offers a nicely seasoned flavor and the mozzarella cheese is real and it complements the other ingredients wonderfully.
An ample serving of real pepperoni slices tops the Walgreens Cafe W Self Rising Crust Pepperoni Pizza. It seems to me that this pie features more pepperoni than most other brands of frozen pepperoni pizza and the pepperoni tastes just as fresh as the pepperoni that tops most pizza restaurant style pies. On a flavor scale of one through ten, I would assign this product a rating of 9.5.

Overall Rating
The Walgreens Cafe W Self Rising Crust Pepperoni Pizza is a delicious, high quality frozen pie that tastes great. In this pizza lover's humble opinion, this reasonably priced pie is a real bargain. If your local Walgreens Pharmacy does not usually stock and sell this product, try asking the store manager if the item can be ordered. Chances are, you'll be glad you did. Walgreens Cafe W Self Rising Crust Pepperoni Pizza is highly recommended by this food writer.
