For more than a year now, I have been purchasing, eating and reviewing many different Cafe W food products, which are sold at Walgreens Pharmacies across America. A couple of nights ago, I ate the new Walgreens Cafe W Woodland Chicken frozen dinner for the first time and I'm glad that I did so.

The mashed sweet potatoes in the Walgreens Cafe W Woodland Chicken are delicately seasoned and delicious. They are actually some of the best sweet potatoes I've ever eaten.

One of the main reasons I purchased this product is because of its marsala mushroom sauce. Although I do not drink alcohol, I love the flavor of wine in sauces, particularly marsala wine. Honestly, I don't know exactly how to rate this marsala sauce. It does offer a pleasing, almost - elegant flavor, but I think if it was a little bit sweeter, it would taste even better. The overall flavors of this sauce and the entire dinner are very good. On a flavor scale of one through ten, I would assign this product a rating of nine.

Packaging
This chicken dinner is packaged in an attractively designed, largely black and white cardboard box. The package is flat and stores easily in one's freezer. The front label features an appealing photo of the enclosed dinner and the rear label lists all pertinent ingredient and nutritional information.

Inside the box, Walgreens Cafe W Woodland Chicken is packaged in a black plastic tray that is covered with plastic film. The box is easy to open and the plastic film is easy to remove.
