Top Manufacturers and Where to Buy

Malina Debrie
Walk-in tubs are a good choice for seniors. Not only do they ease the worry of falls when bathing, they also provide security for the adult children. Walk-in tubs remove the worry by guaranteeing your aging parent will be able to continue performing their needs, allowing them their independence without the help of others.

It's important for our parents or senior relatives to maintain their independence as they age. They resist the interference of children who want to protect them as they try to maintain a shred of independence.

JACUZZI

One of the lead names in tub manufacturers is Jacuzzi. When preparing to renovate, upgrade or just purchase a tub, the Jacuzzi name is one of the first names that comes to mind. Jacuzzi has partnered with Home Living Solutions to provide a line of bathtubs that give the user a feeling of being in a spa rather than in a tub. Consumers purchasing Jacuzzi Walk-in tubs are provided with convenience, safety and therapeutic benefits the Jacuzzi name has become well known for and leads the industry in providing. Prior to Jacuzzi offering walk-in tubs, it was unheard of to have a whirlpool or hot tub due to safety and accessibility reasons. Now, however, with Jacuzzi taking the lead, hot tubs and whirlpools no longer create a safety or accessibility issue when desiring a walk-in tub. Open the Jacuzzi Air-Tight Walk-In tub door, step inside and wait a few seconds for the water to begin moving inside the tub as you relax in comfort. Three feet of water flows around inside the tub providing an amazing amount of therapeutic value and benefit. No longer does the patient or individual have to be burdened in a close, cramped tub. The area is comfortable, roomy with the individual feeling calm, eased and amazingly relaxed as they enjoy the water flowing about. A Jacuzzi Walk-In tub is an investment in the mind, body, soul and health of an individual.

Nice information on these. I find myself thinking how handy these would be when I'm in my 80s and am too skittish about climbing into the clawfoot tub we have now.

Good information. A company I used to work for in Indiana made showers and tubs. There are some great designs these days, especially for older people.

I'm not into tubs, but when we build we are having extra blocking in the shower area for future grab bars. They advertise these walk in tubs constantly on TV!
