There are lots of fun and interesting walking tours in Charleston, SC but the most deliciously frightening tours are the Ghost Walk tours available. Several tour companies offer thrills and chills with tours of the city's most haunted places, including the Old City Jail, the dungeon, an ancient graveyard and much more. Check them out whether you're visiting Charleston, live here, or are searching for an unusually spooky activity for Halloween!

Bulldog Tours offers several scary walking tours. They include The Dark Side of Charleston, The Ghost and Dungeon tour, The Ghost and Graveyards tour, and The Haunted Jail tour. They claim to be the only tour company with access to the dungeon and one of the city's oldest graveyards. Check them out at www.bulldogtours.com.

Tour Charleston offers two ghost tours and a pirate tour. They talk about the haunted buildings, restaurants, and homes of the city and local superstitions. Charleston was a hotbed of pirate activity and their ghosts are reported to still roam the city! Check out their tours at www.tourcharleston.com.

The Original Charleston Walks offers the Ghosts and Legends of Charleston. Their ghost walk is year round and lasts approximately ninety minutes. They claim to be the original Charleston ghost tour and have many knowledgeable guides. Visit them at www.charlestonghosts.com for more information.

Anna's House and Garden Tour also offers a Ghost Walk. The tour is an hour and a half walk through the historic district. It's led by Anna Blythe, a 12th generation Charlestonian who wrote a Ghost book for the Historic Charleston Foundation. Charleston's Ghost Hunt Tour will lead you through the Holy City's dark side. A few places and things you'll see are the Provost Dungeon, tales of cold-blooded murder, the darker side of Charleston, and the girl in the graveyard, to name a few. Check them out at www.charlestonghosthunt.com.

Walking Ghost Tours are a fun way to learn about Charleston's unique history, legends, superstitions, and tales of hauntings. Charleston's history is ideal for creating lots of ghosts and hauntings, as you'll find out on any of these unique ghost tours. Many of them are available year round, so you don't have to wait until Halloween rolls around to take a tour. Prepare to be truly frightened, and ask when you buy your tickets if the tour is appropriate for children as some of them are not. Have a very haunted time!

    Oh miss brady! Are you kidding here? Have you been on these ghost tours......really? Okay, maybe there are some legit ghost tours in Charleston, as a matter of fact, I saw some legitimate looking groups walking around. However, before you post services of the beautiful Charleston, South Carolina....I suggest you make sure they are legitimate.
    My family and I recently visited Charleston on vacation from Indiana. We knew very little about the city, just that the beaches around Charleston are lovely. My 13 year old son wanted to go on one of the ghost tours, so we got some brochures, and allowed him to pick the one he wanted. The brochures are all very similar, however the tours are not all the same and let me tell you briefly about the rotten tour we went on with Charleston's original Ghost Hunt. We called for reservations, and were told to meet up with the rest of our tour at the United States Custom House, 200 East Bay Street. It was explained that we would need to bring c
