Walking Tours of Venice Beach

C. Sherwood
When people think of Venice Beach, walking tours are not usually the first thing to come in mind. However, a walking tour could be just the ticket to enjoy your time on this beautiful beach. Not only have walking tours become a main attraction for Venice Beach, but once you arrive you will have many choices of tours to choose as well. Here are some of your options

Option #1: Venice Beach Walking Tours - www.venicebeachwalkingtours.com

Your first choice for Venice Beach Walking tours is Venice Beach Walking tours. Not the most creative name but does get straight to the point. Venice Beach Walking Tours is ran by California Native Jefferey Solomon. Jefferey will give you an insiders look at some of the most beautiful sites on Venice Beach including the boardwalk, the beautiful Venice murals, and the Venice canal systems.

Option #2: LA City Tours - www.LAcitytours.com

Whether you want to only see Venice Beach, or book a tour to see the homes of the stars, this is the tour company for you. LA City tour operates a number of packages for its tour destinations and has twelve different pick-up points throughout it's route. So no matter where you are in the LA area, you will be able to make your way down to Venice Beach through one of their many pick-up areas.

Option #3: All Los Angeles Tours - www.alllosangelestours.com

All Los Angeles tours is another tour company that offers many different tour packages including one that allows you time for a walking tour in Venice. Their tour includes Venice Beach as well as Rodea Drive and shopping in Santa Monica. Hit the pier and watch the dozens of street performers or just stick your feet in the ocean and relax for awhile.

Option #4: Star Line Tours - www.starlinetours.com

Star Line tours offers a full day tour with a special stop to Venice Beach. This tour will by far give you the most bang for your buck since this tour also visits Grauman's Chinese Theater, Rodeo Drive, Santa Monica Pier, and Marina Del Ray. Take the opportunity on this tour to also visit the famous muscle beach.

Option #5: Self Guided Tours - www.venicechamber.net

If you really want to be able to take your time and enjoy Venice Beach the way it was meant to be enjoyed, try a self guided tour. The Venice Chamber of Commerce self guided tour will take you through three miles of some of the most beautiful and controversial murals and public art. This still leaves you the ability to spend as much time as you want on the sand, or being entertained on the boardwalk.

Whatever option you choose, Venice Beach is an incredible place to give the environment a break and walk for awhile. You will be amazed at all the details of this beautiful beach that you will see through a walking tour, that you could have never seen just driving by.
