Wallflowers: Bath & Body Works Scents to Fill Your Home

Bath & Body Works Wallflowers Will Fill Your Rooms with Fragrant Scents

CathyinMD
It was not too long ago that I made a trip to the nearest Bath & Body Works store armed with my prior in-store coupon for a free Signature Collection product with $10 purchase. As I was looking over the merchandise, the store was in the middle of their semi-annual sale. One of the sale items available were the Wallflowers starter kits and refills at $5.00 each. Normally, the items retail for $12.50 each. I thought this was a great deal. I purchased a starter kit and refill in a Sweet Pea scent along with my free Signature Collection product.

WHAT ARE WALLFLOWERS?
Wallflowers is a device that would be plugged into a wall socket. The unique feature of this product is in the flower design at the top. There are tiny openings at the top of the "flower" which diffuse the scent and fill the room. In the starter kit, you receive the Wallflowers unit along with a bulb. The bulb includes a scent from the Bath & Body Works collection. The bulbs come in a variety of scents, including:
• Bartlett Pear
• Black Raspberry Vanilla
• Blissful Blackberry
• Brown Sugar & Fig
• Cherry Blossom
• Cinnamon Stick
• Cinnamon Vanilla
• Sweet Pea
• Warm Vanilla Sugar

If you purchase a refill package, there are two bulbs inside.

USING WALLFLOWERS
Once the Wallflowers unit is taken out of the package, the bulb is also removed separately. I like the flower design and find it to be more attractive than using a Glade Plug-In or similar product. The bulb has a protective top to prevent spills while being contained in the original package. As you take a look at the top of the bulb, you will see an arrow to point you in the direction to turn in order to take the top off. Of course, you want to make sure that the bulb is held in the correct position; otherwise the scent will spill onto the floor. Once the top is off, there is a wick that needs to be screwed into the Wallflowers unit. You will need to place the wick in the hold underneath the flower and twist in the appropriate direction to lock the bulb in place. This may sound like a lot of work, but really it does not take long to put in the bulb.

Once the bulb is firmly in place, all you would need to do is to plug the unit into the wall socket.

WHAT'S THE VERDICT?
When I first used the Sweet Pea scent in my living room, I plugged the unit in the morning and went to work. After I returned home, I was greeted by the scent as it filled the room. The scent is meant to last for 6-8 weeks. I have found that it lasts about 4-5 weeks. You will know the scent is gone when the bulb is empty. I have used quite a few of the scents available, including Bartlett Pear, Sweet Pea & Cherry Blossom and have found the scents to be fairly long lasting.

OVERALL
I enjoy using the Wallflowers and buy refills when there is a sale going on at Bath & Body Works or online at bathandbodyworks.com. My favorite scent is Cherry Blossom.
