Walmart Family Mobile - Changing the Game in Cell Phone Service
Walmart Family Mobile ™ isn't the first time Walmart has attempted to be known for cell phone service. Within the past two years, Walmart introduced Straight Talk™. This wildly popular brand introduced millions of customers to plans which were simple. One plan consisting of $30 per month for 1000 minutes and 1000 texts and the other was unlimited for $45.
With the launch of Walmart Family Mobile ™, Walmart has added another brand to align with its motto of saving people money so they can live better. The value associated of Walmart Family Mobile ™ is customers no longer have to worry about a contract or a multi-year commitment.
Based upon comparisons of post-paid services offered by AT&T and Verizon, Walmart Family Mobile ™ will save its customers $1200 per year. Information was based upon unlimited talk and text family plans.
Starting September 20, 2010, Walmart will offer Walmart Family Mobile ™ in nearly 2500 store nationwide. The Walmart Family Mobile ™ is offered on the T-Mobile network so there is a trusted brand backing the new service. Chief Operating Officer Jim Alling of T-Mobile USA acknowledges the Walmart Family Mobile ™as being "innovative". Walmart U.S. VP of merchandising Greg Hall concurs Walmart Family Mobile ™ is "affordable...provides families with the flexibilities...without surprise charges".
T-Mobile is a worldwide corporation servicing over 33.6 million on their T-Mobile USA network. Walmart services their customer more than 200 million times per week in over 8400 stores. Walmart Family Mobile ™ is a plan positioned for success with a solid partnership between T-Mobile and Walmart.

Did you read the rates? $30/month for 1000 minutes. The $45 rate is unlimited. 700 with VZ and unlimited with Walmart. Do the math.
At $45 for the primary and add'l $25 per line = $95 for a 3 phone plan. VZ has the same $ for a 700 anytime min. Unl. night and wkends. plan.
