This kit can be purchased in-store and online with at home delivery for $24.64. The kit includes enough tools to collect three DNA Samples:
- Cheek swabs
- Specimen envelopes
- Order form
- Postage-paid mailing envelope
However, do not be fooled $24.64 is not the final price. You cannot purchase the kit without paying the $119.00 lab fee that is required to test each sample. Identigene DNA Paternity Test is marketed to be 99.99% accurate with results sent back to you within three to five business days. Another caveat is that the paternity test kit is not available to New York residents because of state regulations.

While I received a good chuckle at this list, two of these items may help prevent the need for a paternity test.

The Items or products related to sections of products pages are often a crapshoot for me. Sometimes I find products that actually are related to the product I am currently and at other times, they just share a few words in common. For the Identigene Paternity Test Kit sold at WalMart, the related items that came up for me are:

I do see the relationship between pregnancy tests and paternity tests. Once a female finds out she is pregnant and she is unsure of who the father is, she can at least plan ahead for the Identigene test after the child is born.

I often felt embarrassed for the females who go on talk shows to find out who the father of their child is. Shows like Maury Povich hit ratings gold with such shows. However, I don't think the mother or father is thinking of the long-term effects that such recorded public displays will have on their child or children. So an at home paternity test seems to be a viable option for some.
While I do think the Identigene DNA Paternity Test Kit is a good idea it is for personal use only. This means it does not eliminate the need for a court-administered paternity test. Also, be sure to obtain permission from the people you intend to collect specimens from before purchasing the kit. Check your local and state laws to make sure you can legally obtain a DNA sample from a person without their consent. If you do not want to go to WalMart to purchase the Identigene DNA Paternity Test Collection Kit, it is also sold at many Rite-Aid, Walgreens, Amazon.com and other retailers or drug stores.

FYI, WalMart has sold these test for at least two years but they are now available throughout the country except for New York State.
I just caught a good look at the packaging and it says "for alleged, father, mother and child." Hmmm...
