Walt Disney Has a Winner with the 3D a Christmas Carol
The 3D a Christmas Carol Promotional Tain Sold Me on Going to the Movie
The Walt Disney promotional train was a treat, it is too bad that it is only going to twenty-five cities. It should be going to two or three times that many city. I personally was apprehensible about going to watch the movie, but once I viewed the scenes of the movie, I will be going to watch the 3D Christmas Carol. I was awe-struck by the technology that went into the film. They had people hooked up with sensors flying by cables, walking around, going through walls, etc. I kicked myself for over two hours for not taking my camera to take photos in the train. It was nice to see how the scenes were shoot. They displayed period costumes, portraits on the wall, touch screen My stepson had several morphs of his face done of the four characters that he was able chose from.
After viewing the items in the train, we went to see some of the 3D scenes from the A Christmas Carol. We were given sturdy 3D glasses to watch the movie. It will be interesting to see if they give these glasses out after the movie is released on November 6th. The scenes from the movie were great. My stepson was hooting and wooing through out the scenes. Even though I was doubtful about going to see the movie prior to visiting the 3D a Christmas Carol train, I definitely will be going now. With the financial backing of the Walt Disney and a great story by Charles Dickens, this movie should be a great success. I am sure that all the 3D movie theatres will be backed up for months.
