Walt Disney World for Grown Ups: Best of Disney Adult Beverages, Vol. 2

Walt Disney World Offers a Wealth of Innocent Adult Entertainment, Cont

Christopher Thomas Schmidt
Disney is all about family. Walt Disney has truly created a world "where parents and children can have fun together." But what about the rest of us? "Disney for Grown Ups" provides an examination of adult entertainment, attractions and distraction. This installment highlights the best libations, adult, though whimsical, throughout the Resort (See also Walt Disney World Adult Beverages - Volume 1):

Gekkeikan Nigori Saki
FIND IT @ Disney's Animal Kingdom, the Yak and Yeti

Saki is a beverage best served cold. Nigori Saki is an excellent variation that will help you forget about the unpleasant experiences you have endured drinking hot saki. Sipping a Gekkeikan amid the Asian artifacts, delighting in the ginger-coconut tempura shrimp scent of the Yak and Yeti, is the ideal way to pass the time waiting for your Expedition Everest FastPass to activate.
Price $6.99 6oz glass / $13.95 300ml bottle (get the bottle)

Rossini
FIND IT @ Epcot, the Italy Pavilion

At a Kiosk outside the Tutto Italia, you will find the best beverage you thought you'd never order. A Rossini is a combination of Champagne and Strawberry purée, and sounds too sweet to enjoy, until you've tried one. Drink a Rossini at an outside table next to the fountain (of course there's a fountain), and don't be ashamed to tell your friends about it.
Price $10.00

Stop Light Margarita
FIND IT @ Disney's Hollywood Studios
, Backlot Canteen
The Stop LIght is a whimsical layering of Strawberry, Golden and Melon Margaritas. Besides being charming and delicious, the Stop Light is a cost effective way to get to try the Strawberry, Golden and Melon Margaritas without having to buy all three. If you are a fan of the Margarita, get over to Epcot's Mexico Pavilion and try the La Cava Blended Wild Passion Fruit. It is unbelievable.
Price $8.25

"Mega-Berry Smoothie"
FIND IT
@ Disney's Boardwalk Resort, from the Leaping Horse Libations Pool Bar
This is not specifically an adult beverage. The smoothie is a delicious combination of raspberry purée, nonfat yogurt and Odwalla Berries GoMega juice. While an excellent source of Omega-3, the smoothie does not contain alcohol. Disney does not necessarily encourage this behavior, but give this a try: get a smoothie and a shot of Stolichnaya Razberi Vodka, which is conveniently available at the Leaping Horse. Combine the two, preferably out of sight of impressionable youngsters, their disapproving parents, and any of your more Company-policy restrained Disney employees. Enjoy this delicious, if tainted beverage by the pool, or during a leisurely perusal of the Boardwalk. Keep out of reach of children.
Price $4.69, plus the cost of booze

Yuengling Traditional Lager
FIND IT @ Epcot, the America Pavilion

Yuengling is available in the burger restaurant, and at the coffee cart and funnel cake kiosk. Yes, amid the Saki, Sashimi, crepes and Chialti represented by at Epcot's International Pavilions, the American Adventure boasts burgers, coffee and funnel cake. And, of course, beer. Is it any wonder we are the envy of the planet? At least the beer is one of our best. Yuengling is smooth, refreshing, and possesses the rare and delightful combination of light body and full taste, and goes great with onion rings (also available).
Price $5.25
