It seems like the biggest question on everyones mind today is "What is the best way to lose weight and keep it off?" While this is a very good question, the answer is far from easy. But after doing some research and going through NUMEROUS yo-yo diets, I have found the following to be true.

When trying to lose weight you want to choose a diet that is both healthy and beneficial. I was very fortunate to come across a website called "Fat Loss for Idiots" That made me better understand why achieved weight loss seemed almost impossible for me. The information contained on the website is extremely beneficial and if taken seriously can be very successful. Just reading the first couple pages I learned the following:

Low Fat Foods DON'T WORK.

You cannot lose weight using Low Fat Diets. Low fat foods have been popular for many years, however, society is getting more and more overweight as each year passes. Hearing this alone should tell you that eating low fat or eating no fat is simply not the answer to successful weight lose.

Low Calorie Diets DON'T WORK.

You won't lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan either. And to be completely honest a low calorie diet is actually one of the worst things you can do to your body. It slows down your bodies fat burning capability and ruins your chances of losing and keeping off weight. You may loss a few pounds initially, but once that weight is gone it will come to a halt and you will start gaining it back.

Low Carb Plans DON'T WORK.

The problem with low carb diets are that they are extremely hard to stick to because of how strict they are. They also tend to rob your body of carbohydrates which causes a lack of energy. This in turn would make it even more difficult to stick to such a diet.

How about Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig Dieting Plans?

These type of programs are usually contribute to slower weight loss success. They typically only promise a couple of pounds a week. They also involve purchasing rather expensive meals during the start of the program. Don't get me wrong, some people are ok with this type of program. But before you decide to go that route, let us first introduce you to a diet plan that focuses on a healthy yet quicker fat burning program.

There are many websites out there that target weight loss, but very few that break it down to a level of understanding that is not so technical. I have been struggling with my weight for years now and have found what I feel is a great resource if weight is something that you too struggle with.
