WANT ANSWERED PRAYERS????

My daughter who is 5 was born with certain birth defects. Her right arm is weak and her fingers can barely move. So her rught hand is smallers than the left. She was born with amniotic banding. Some of her toes are like cut off. And she had other problems, too. But she is mentally well, she walks, she is advanced in school and she is so beautiful.

Doctors thought she might be mentally underdeveloped, but then there is JESUS!

We have been praying and praying for her and we see things getting better slowly. A spinal cord surgery doctor said she needed, after prayer, he said she did not need one and that the MRI showed she was fine. Praise Jesus!

Her fingers are starting to grow bigger and they are becoming more lose.

I know what it's like for parents that have children with "problems" or should I say " opportunities " through which God will be glorified and He already has.

But one thing we all need to know. It is not God who gives sickness. Yes, the church has preached so many lies to cover up the unbelief even of elders, who are supposed to believe( James 5). We cannot use our experiences to excuse God. We need to align our thinking and lives with God's Word and His Word says, " they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover" ( Mark 16). Now, does that sound like there is any doubt there? It did not say " and maybe" they will recover or " maybe they will get better a little bit". But that they sahll recover. If it is not happening, it is not God's Word the problem. It is our problem, Our unbelief. Or as Curry Blake calls them , " sacred cows". Please check out John G Lake Ministries through your search engine and listen to this man of God. Very powerful.It will shake your thinking and beliefs. He is a very humble man.

Faith. We need to have faith. You know some people think that faith is like currency or some kind of magic tool we can use to get things. Wrong! Faith is just saying, " God I believe you". It is just simply believing your God. Now there lies our problem. We do not believe Him.

He said it, dear brothers and sisters and then He will do it. In fact God has already done everything on His end. He is not limited by time. Remember Einstein? Time is relative. That is why God is I AM, because He is not limited by the past or future. To Him everything just IS.

And He says in His Word, " Ask and it will be given". Also, He says that if we who are evil can give good things to our children, how much more He will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and another gospel even says, that how much more He will give good things to those who asks. So, I took up God on His Word and have tested it out. I prayed and said to Him, " God, you said that if I ask, It will be given to me". " Well, you need to ask accordign to His will", some say. Here is the problem with our thinking. If you fellowship with God, then don't you ask something He aproves of? How can one have fellowship with LIGHT and ask for DARKNESS? If you hang out with your BIG DADDY, it will rub off on you. We need to get rid of this excuse of "Well, I do not know God's will", an just ask. Now, make sure you do fellowship with Him and if you do, then quit worrying about what is or not His will. If you really do not know again, " ASK and it shall be given to you". God will show you.

I am just trying to show you that for example if my daughter keep hanging out with me, eventually one day she will do the things I do, bake the way I bake, act the way I act sometimes, and speak and think the way I do. Now that can be good or bad, depends what kind of person YOU are as a parent.

But see, it is the same with God. He is out Father. If we hang out with Him a lot, eventually we will think, act, and talk like He does. Remember the disciples when they ran away when Jesus was caught. Some people said about Peter that even his speech proved he hung out with Jesus....!!! And if you hang out with Jesus, you will eventually act like Him and people will see. So, the problem is not "what is God's will?", but who am I fellowshipping with?

So, get to know God. Jesus said one time that not those who preach or do miracles or even say "Lord", will inherit the Kingdom of God, but those who do the will of Father. He even said that on that day He will tell them to go away because He never knew them. Jesus will turn you away if you do not know Him. And out of knowing Him, you know Father's will. Right? He said that only those who knew Him and did Father's will will inherit the Kingdom. So, it is time for us to quit worrying about preaching, dancing and all our activities ( not that we do not need those), but if we do not know Him and do His will, it is a waste of time.

Some people think that because they are so busy with spiritual looking work, they will enter the Kingdom. Not so! Only those wo know Jesus and do the will of Father.

This is what should motivate us. When you know Him, you know what He likes, how He thinks, how He forgives, how He even disciplines,and how He acts.

He is our groom so come on bride, get to know Him! How?

From experience I am saying that I started getting to know Him, because it worried me to think that what if I do all these things I am doing yet I do not know Him.

So, this is what He showed me. Prayer, for example. Jesus said that we need to not pray babbling and saying many words ( like some intercessors do),but just simply ask. Treat God as your Father. What would it be like if I went to my mom or dad and asked them for something for one hour and used a bunch of words and babble...blah..blah.blah...Luckily God doesnt get sick of us as probably my dad would, but I am sure God is not enjoying it. Nothing is worse than an annoying child, " Gimme. Gimme. Can I have that? Can I? Oh please can I? Can I? Can I ? Now? Now? " Eventually you would stop and shout, " Enough! Be quiet! I already said yes or no an that is it!" Well, maybe not in that tone, but I hope you get the picture. When we act like that with God, we are making Him distant from us and like He is over there and we are WAAAAYYYYY over here. The Bible says God is NEAR, not far.

So, just ask. I gurantee you that when you start believing that He wants to answer your pryaers and when you start treating Him like a DADDY, you will see prayers answered. He is looking for a family. He called you into a family not BABBLING and BEGGING, and WHYINING< AND SCREAMING.

Just ask, and it shall be given to you. You know why? So Father can be glorified. As Curry Blakes puts it, " Unanswered prayer doesn't glorify the Father. Answered prayer does." And we all know God created us for His glory. So He can be glorified.
