Want to Get Rid of a Bad Habit?

Color Meditation Helps

At present, the astrology configurations are extremely critical as well as profuse. As an aid to handling the intensity, thoughts directed into meditation work out well. To emphasize the impact of the upcoming and ongoing state of the world, one of the outer planet transits (Pluto/Capricorn) occurred last in 1643. More on this in future articles.

Not necessarily creepy or ominous, many people are undergoing tremendous life changes. We see it on the news everyday, but the changes are more widespread than only the actions we see on screen.

Many transitions happen internally, and you may be the only person aware of what you are going through inwardly.

On a more personal level, the attitude about change is the key focus. Yet, more than this, the planetary influences affect individuals differently. Some people welcome change with open arms. Others don't.

Another point of view encourages taking advantage of a propensity for change that the planetary alignments favor. Consider a once in a lifetime opportunity to change something about yourself for the better.

Imagine the tides coming into shore, and visualize a surfer on top of the undulating waves. This can be you handling swelling tides of energy. Visualize the way that electricity travels in sine waves. One of the planets involved in the earth changes is Uranus, which experiences one electrical storm after another.

Green is the recommended color for change. Since the ethereal atmosphere is permeated with revolutionary trends, it's a good time to tackle unwanted behaviors. Quitting a bad habit results in a new you and green is always associated with freshness. Start the visualization by focusing on the solar plexus, centered just below the rib cage.

The desired color is the same as a beautiful grassy lawn. Once pictured in this area, begin seeing it expand upward through the chest cavity, then the throat and through the brain and out through the arms.

Next radiate the color downward, through the stomach and pelvis, legs and out through the feet. See the whole figure immersed in the newness of green.

The overall picture will be of a different body within yours. It is fresh and poised to become the new you. When you are ready to release it, see the whole picture of newness, free of old debilitating habits or attitudes.

This meditation is something you can do at any time. You don't have to be seated or still. Do it while bike riding or walking. The only requirement is to concentrate the color throughout.

Build up the meditation routine to six times a day for about five minutes each interval. Be patient and prepared to keep working with this technique. Changes happen gradually, and through repeated meditation you'll see the bad habit diminishing and eventually dropping away.

Green for change - hmmm - I am looking in my closet and see lots of reds and whites, purbles and blues and beiges. Time to clean the closet and look for more green clothing. There is only 1 green hot weather blouse in there,

I'm going to meditate away the thoughts of how good a cookie tastes to me. I haven't been able to change that behavior yet.
