Burger King and the Simpsons have created a website that allows you to see what you would look like as a Simpsons character. If you go to SimpsonizeMe.com you can upload a photo of yourself. After a short time to process the photo, you will see what you look like in 2D and with yellow skin.
All you need to participate in this is to upload a photo that is a closeup of your face. The photo must be in .jpeg, .jpg or .png format. The picture also must be in the resolution of 640x480 pixels, which is about equal to a 5x7 photograph. The more contrast that the picture has the better and your photo must be in color. Some pictures don't work well, and some don't work at all, so it may take a few tries to get the best results.
This website should be a hit with any diehard Simpsons fan that has ever dreamed of going to Springfield and being a part of the Simpsons experience.
On the SimpsonizeMe website you can also watch trailers for the Simpson movie as well as television ads. There is also a link to Virtual Springfield on the site as well as a list of some Burger King items, since the website is truly an ad for Burger King.
The SimpsonizeMe website has probably not been as much of a draw as Burger King had hopped. According to Alexa, a website that ranks web traffic, the site has only garnered about 2,000 visitors per day. Interestingly, most of the websites visitors were from outside of the United States, and after the United States, the next highest amount of visitors came from Brazil, Canada and the United Kingdom respectively. Apparently the Simpsons are a big draw in all parts of the world and it draws 0.0765% of all worldwide internet users.
The highly anticipated Simpsons Movie will be in theatres this Friday, July 27th. Simpsons fans have been waiting for the movie version of the show since rumors surfaced involving the movie years ago.
The Simpsons is the longest running primetime cartoon ever and it is the sixth longest running show of all-time, just behind such classics as Lassie, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Death Valley Days and Ozzie and Harriet.

I've always liked Lisa. :) And Marge, too, now that I'm a mom.
Nice article, sometimes we just need something to make us smile. :-)
Lol, I am off to do this. I hope I don't turn out like Mr. Burns.
I am Lisa.
I'm not sure who I would be, maybe another Marge?
