The state's also are 'negligent' in that they could be suing the federal government in their failure to adequately fund the security fencing and manpower needed at the border, as a 'breach of contract' action. Providing for the common defense essentially was the real reason the federal government was created to begin with. In failing to provide for adequate border security, especially in light of 9/11 while 'appropriating' foreign aid to countries such as Israel in order to provide for their border security and protection against terrorism seems hypocrical when our own borders are open and exposed. President' Bush and this current administration have lost their minds, and are using the citizens of this country as 'open wallets,' while failing to fulfill their Constitutional functions.
Barraging your state government to 'call' them on this hypocricy, and writing your own letters might turn this issue around. The economy, jobless rate, bank fees and charges and interests rates all also are tied in to this issue - not to mention increased insurance costs and taxation for the social services these 'non-taxpaying citizens' are receiving - while more Americans die each and every day at their hands, thousands upon thousands since 9/11.
While there is even one American in this country unemployed, while American citizens are paying for state college educations and then watching their children's jobs being 'outsourced' or graduating and working alongside the illegals is an outrage.
Call and write your local state and federal legislator on their hypocricy today. Mention that securing our borders is the primary function of the federal government - before pork bills, and their pension plans and House toilet expenditures. And also remember, most are coming through the border states such as Arizona, Texas and New Mexico - and then spreading throughout the country. Especially write those legislators about your outrage, as they are not just putting their state citizen's at risk, but the entire nation in failing to 'sue' the federal government for their negligence. Every Governor and Attorney General in every state is also at fault - since they blame the federal government, but have not taken the Constitutional steps necessary in filing a 'class action' or federal lawsuit to get the funds needed to secure both the borders, and enforce the immigration laws in their local communities.
As a former 45 year Arizona resident - McCain will talk the talk, but will not walk the walk. And neither will Obama and Hillary, since they are also 'corporately' owned, and bear no allegiance, apparently, to the lawful citizenry in providing for their security first and foremost.
It is your children who will be losing those jobs after forking out state university tuitions - so the state's have also been negligent in their protection of their constituents. Grab a pen, and write a letter.
