War Is

and to torture prisoners make them really sad.

To forgive and be kind to the enemy makes them glad,

But don't they see that war is mad, war is sad, war is good and bad!

It's truly black and white,

not what's good or what's right.

War is a starless, endless night.

The scars that are put on men are blight.

It's not fit for anyone's sight.

The bullets are always dull, never bright.

Some morals have no place.

It's a competition, a race,

to show who will keep the grace.

Stop trying to dress it in lace,

and leave the war in its' violent space.

It is chaotic and damaging to the countries and soldiers that are into its' depth plummeting,

all because of the old politicians' grumbling.

In their starched, thousand dollar suits they consider the lives lost moot,

all the time harping that more they need to recruit.

These are the ones that really embodies the word brute,

not the men who have to shoot.

And you who protest the war,

let's see if you can escape being the war's whore

while the old men sit back and count the score.

It's not so easy just to stop, rather than just roar.

Should our men be allowed to die,

because you've decided that the war is a lie?

To stop the financing of the war is to condemn our soldiers' lives to death being their only release.

Do you think that makes peace?

Aren't you now the murderers that cause our men's lives to cease?

Look at you on your high horse.

Have you ever experienced something like the fear of a doomed force?

It doesn't matter what's right.

All that matters is who has the most might.
