War in Iraq and Hilary Clinton

Is She a Political Whore?

f.w.
There is no such thing as being unbiased in today's political world. I read recently "Hilary is a political whore", on a political website, "she will say and do anything to be elected." Is this the case? Like many other Senators at the onset of the war in Iraq, Clinton voted "yes" to grant President Bush the authority to go and invade Iraq. Clinton now claims that whe was "misled by the administration, or by faulty intelligence."

Is this the reason that some may doubt Hillary's sense of responsibility? The main question that I want to ask is; "Is Hillary's sense of responsibility enough to sway voters to entrust her as the future president of the USA? The "official story" coming out of the White House is one version of this particular political story and I believe that a responsible representative owes it to their constituents to check thoroughly the facts on any issue.

On the other side of the coin, Clinton's vote was not the only one that took us to war with Iraq. So, is this election turning into a mud-slinging competition? "The power of the pen comes with responsibility", hence, I do not want to seem unbiased unless this is equated with being unconventional. So, I must ask myself the question, "do I believe that Clinton is competent to make well-thought decisions or is she so caught up in the political machine that she will act irrationally?

I do not think that Clinton is fooling anyone with her stance on the decision made in Senate however, most people in the center of the political agenda will get behind Hillary. So, back to the argument with another persons' thoughts. "If Hillary were a decent candidate, her vote on the war would not stop me from voting for her. She is too divisive for even the democratic party". This sentence speaks thousands of thoughts to me.

Is Clinton a "middle of the road" female candidate. Yes, I used the word "female" and I am not sexist. For any person to reach this point in their career it takes someone with great intelligence , drive, ambition and a highly accomplished background in the political forum. Clinton is definitely ambitious and certainly is not as "clean" as she is made out to be but do you think her stance on stopping the war will work. I believe that if elected, she will do her utmost to deliver this promise. What do you think?
