War "Machinists" Change Color and Tactics to Bilk the Taxpayers and the New Administration

Expecting Somebody Else to Fight Our War is a Trick to Prolong the War and Not Fight It

"The program received $62.5 million so far this budget year, which began Oct. 1. Defense officials say $167.5 million more is needed before the next budget year begins in eight months" - AP report.

How long will these guys keep on this game of seeking " more money" to train "allies" to get ready for war?

How can they answer this ironic puzzle:

1. Pakistan doesn't need any special training, any special millions to fight their arch enemies the Indians who are many times their size be it land, population and even army size. They are in perpetual readiness for that.

2. At the same time, they need billions of US taxpayer money just "to train" to fight the lionized Taliban.

But the War Machinists have short memories. They forget that in the recent past they themselves were rooting for Iraq and bilked billions of dollars while the focus should have been Afghanistan.

It was the surge and not special training that subdued Iraqi opponents.

The war machinists themselves were responsible for allowing Osama Bin Laden to escape to the present hideout in Pakistan. How?

When we started the Afghan engagement, Pakistan made a special request to us to let them fly in military transport planes to repatriate "Pakistani Taliban" from Afghanistan.

But why show special consideration for any particular section of Taliban? Taliban is Taliban. Yet we did it.

According to our own media ( and what we ignored to focus on Iraq), we allowed in ten transport planes for that purpose.

But according to one report, the first person to board the first plane was none other than Osama bin Laden.

All this, when we were being told the bloody lie that the bearded, much-wanted terrorist was escaping on horse-back from the caves of Tora Bora.

Don't tell me our Apaches and Agustas, Cobras and Vipers are incapable of firing at a guy on horseback.

But nobody could predict even in their wildest dreams at that time that a guy called Barack Obama will become our future President.

So Iraq was the money spinner for the war machinery at that time.

Now that the President has changed and the focus has changed from Iraq to Afghan border, the war machinists have changed their tricks too.

Now they say, they need millions just to train Pakistan army to fight Taliban.

My question is,why not spend those billions straight to fight the Taliban ourselves, rather than sidetracking to this training fiasco.

Expecting somebody else to fight our war is just a ploy to divert taxpayer money, something not advisable in the present state of economy.

Especially, when they have already entered into a truce with the enemy without even consulting us:

1.Forgot the war on terror when one of their guys was kidnapped.
2.Even paid the terrorists $6 million to bribe them into a truce.

To me the funding asked equals to 28 such ransom payments at $6 million per ransom.

How long will the war machinists think they can fool the American taxpayer on one pretext or another? Federal auditors have not yet completely unraveled the skeletons in the Iraqi cupboard.

Get over this war with surgical precision, which only our guys can do and don't take detours to prolong war!

To tell you the truth, our unmanned Drones are terrorizing Taliban and even creating havoc on them more effectively than these armchair trainer patriots.
