Warmetal on Facebook is a futuristic game of war. Using your troops you go on missions to attack and conquer areas of the world. At first you only have one mission available. As you finish missions, you open up other missions. Eventually you can open up other areas as well. Each mission rewards you with experience, cash, and sometimes something special.

One of the unique things on Warmetal is the introduction of formations. This allows you to take multiple troop units, generals and even buildings on your assaults against the enemy. At first you can only take one general and two assault troops. As you complete missions that award you with new formations, the amounts of things you can take with you increases. This allows each player to customize his troops according to what he feels is the best combination. Because of this, changing formations can be critical to getting an edge against enemies.

In order to do missions, you need to use energy. For battle against other players, you will need to use stamina. Both of these abilities can be increased as you level up your character. You also have attack, defense, and health. All of these can be increased as well. You get five points per level that you can distribute between your stats however you see fit.

Gaining alliances will also help in the game Warmetal. Your allies can send you troops that in the early part of the game that are far tougher than anything you can afford to buy. Sending troops to all of your allies on a daily basis is a quick way to get them to send back troops to you. This will garner you a large force in no time. Be sure when you get new troops whether bought or as a gift to look and put your best troops in your formation.

Another thing to do in Facebook's Warmetal is to battle other players. This is where allies will really help. For every five allies, you can bring an extra assault unit into the battle. If you outnumber your enemy, you have a better chance of winning. Fighting other players also opens up more troops and buildings as your ranking for winning increases. Under the battle area is also a place where you can fight bosses. This is a huge challenge and should not be undertaken lightly. The last thing in Warmetal on Facebook is The Emperor. At the Emperor you can use war chips to purchase elite units, generals, buildings, and other things. The war chips can be earned through achievements but the faster way to get them is to buy them will real money. If you try the game and enjoy it, you can buy war chips and get a real edge on your opponents by getting better things faster than they can.
