Warning: Do Not Let Your Children Eat Sherwood's Milk Chocolate Pirates Gold Coins

Pat Burroughs
Halloween is a time of great fun, and also danger, to our children. While they enjoy trick or treating, sometimes the treats turn out to be tricks instead. I just received a warning about Sherwood's Milk Chocolate Pirates Gold Coins, warning against consuming them. Made in China, they are said to contain melamine, the same contaminant that has killed and sickened thousands of Chinese babies whose formula was contaminated with it. Here is a link that takes you directly to a Snopes report on it:

Thanks for the info. I didn't know this. Santa always puts chocolate coins in my son's Christmas stocking.

Thank you Pat, I received this from a friend via email. I am glad you put it on AC so others that are not aware of it, will be aware. Hugs Mary
