Lost Communication
Relationships rely on basic principles, such as communication, trust and the caring of one another. In the beginning of most relationships, partners are responsive to one another, often talking about their daily worries and accomplishments. The discussion may seem trivial, but it is a great way to get to know the other person on an individual daily level. However, when both parties in the relationship start to ignore small talk, it can lead to a failed relationship. To avoid a breakup due to lost communication you need to reignite the initial spark that you two had. Try going on a date or taking an hour out of both your days to discuss whatever is on your mind with your partner. These simple gestures bring people closer and can strengthen any relationship with little effort.
Different Friends
Before I am ostracized from both men and women, I want to bring up the importance of having mutual friends. When one partner has, a group of members of the opposite and same sex that they hang out with without the other partner it can lead to jealousy and mixed emotions. For instance, if your girlfriend was going out weekly with a group of five guys, you may wonder what her intentions are, even if they are good. Likewise, the same scenario works for the opposite sex as well. Having mutual friends is a great way to build trust and a great way to bond. I am not recommending that you have no friends outside the relationship, but simply suggesting that mutual friends build trust and lead to less relationship problems.
No Sexual Interest
According to healthplace.com, nearly 25% of all American s suffer from a condition known as HSD or hypoactive sexual desire. The condition affects your libido in a way that leads to no interest in sexual activity. The low sex drive can lead to a failing relationship when one partner may feel that they are inadequate, or may lose interest in a partner that has no desire for sex. Safe sex is a healthy part of most relationships and can improve the feeling of togetherness within the relationship. Oxytocin, a hormone released during sexual activity, is one of the biggest factors contributing to an emotional bond between two people in a relationship, according to oxytocin.org. Healthy sexual activity can lead to a stronger bond during a relationship; however, a lack of sexual activity or interest can have the opposite effect.
Constant Fighting
Fighting in a relationship is a healthy experience that leads to resolved issues and the feeling of accomplishment after the argument. A lack of fighting is a common warning sign that both partners are giving up, which can lead to a failed relationship. However, constant useless fighting is also a main contributor. When couples fight about little meaningless things, it can lead to constant anger and is a clear warning sign of a failing relationship. Unfortunately, this problem may require counseling because both parties typically have a hard time admitting that they are wrong.
