Misleading pictures are on many make money quick ads. They show things like yachts, sports cars, and beautiful people on vacation. They are trying to dazzle people into signing up with them (most always for a fee) before checking the facts. Don't be swayed by those alluring images.
Instant access forms are used by many legitimate online companies and while they do not say a company is scamming you many scams use them to hook you as well. Most often there is a voice recording of the founder of the program convincing you that he knows the secrets to making a fortune online. He/she says all you have to do is put your name and email address into the form and they'll "see you on the other side". What they are most likely doing is gathering your email so they can sent you several emails a day and not technically be spamming you. After all, you signed up for it. As I said, not all sites do this but it is a warning that it could be a scam.
Pay to join sites are another warning. When a program has you pay to join their program that is almost always a pyramid scheme. I define them as scams. You may get a little money, but the people making the millions (what they have promised you) is the people at the top. I would never trust a program that made me pay up front.
Yellow highlighted text in an advertisement is a big red flag that you're about to get scammed. Again, this does not mean that they are a scam. I don't try to judge too quickly, but I would be wary of all sites that say they will get you large amounts of money while getting your attention with yellow highlighted text.
Presenting an advertisement in all capital letters is a trick that many scammers use to get your attention. It is used to catch your eye and make you feel excited about what they are saying. Never fall into the trap of being too excited to check out the legitimacy of what you're signing up for. It's just one more thing scammers try to blind you with.
Now that you're more aware of the signs of online money making scams you will be less likely to fall for them. Always check out a program before starting it. This is especially important when it asks you to pay to join. Be wise with your online decisions and may you never be scammed.
