Warren G Harding was born in 1865
Born to Dr. George and Phoebe his wife.
Oldest of eight children who were born to them
A great grandmother was African American

They moved to Ohio when he was a teenager
His father acquired The Argus, a newspaper
He was so intrigued with the printing trade,
He bought one with some money he raised.

He chose to marry Florence Kling, a divorcee
She was beneficial to him in every way.
A 15 year affair with a woman named Carrie
To one of his friends, this woman was married.

She wanted to reveal the affair to his mate
The Republican National Committee paid
And sent her and her family on a trip to Japan
So the scandal of this wouldn't hurt their man.

Nan Britton was another of Harding's flames
She bore a daughter, Elizabeth her name
He never met the daughter, but, of course
He paid large amounts of child support.

A sudden illness not clearly identified
In a conversation with his wife, he died.
Food poison, pneumonia, heart attack, stroke,
The wife disallowed an autopsy to know.

    Based on the lives of these past presidents, seems they had a lot more concealed than revealed about themselves?!! We'll see if it holds true through present day. My guess is that it does!!!
