Madame Tussauds Waxwork
Inside Warwick Castle is where you can see Madame Tussauds Waxwork figures. One of the casts of characters you will see is named Daisy. In 1898 she was the Countess of Warwick. She is hosting a weekend party which the Prince of Wales is attending. You will see all the preparations for the party. Even Winston Churchill shows up. Seeing the wax figures is amazing, and certainly is worth the trip to see Warwick Castle.
Rooms Inside Castle
There are so many unique rooms to see at Warwick Castle. The Great Hall is very striking. There is the chapel to see, and state rooms to visit. I loved Queen Anne's Bedroom. It was fun to see the three different drawing rooms. There is a green, red, and cedar one. All the rooms in Warwick Castle are impressive.
The Pageant Playground
The Pageant Playground is ideal for children. There are picnic areas. A child can spend all day there playing on all the entertaining equipment. There are swings, ropes, nets, spiral slides, and many other things to play on. The best part is The Princess Tower. This is a place where the kids can meet Princess Arabella. Little children are transformed from mere children to princes and princesses, and it is a magical place where the imagination rules.
Military Zone
There is a military zone that is amusing. Here you can see the world's largest seize machine. There is a Trebuchet and Ballista to see. A person can learn archer skills. It is fun because you can see what it would be like to be in armed combat.
The Castle Dungeon
Instead of a haunted house there is a haunted Castle Dungeon. This is not recommended for children under 10. In the Castle Dungeon you will see many scary things. The scenery is depicted of town plagued 1345. Inside the Castle Dungeon you will hear ghosts, see decaying bodies, see the scary mirror maze, and have chanting monks around you. Enter if you dare.
Outdoors
The grounds of Warwick Castle are gorgeous. There is a Victorian rose garden to see. Walk around the courtyard. See the conservatory. Enjoy more flowers at the Peacock Garden. It is just a very peaceful place to be.
