Watch the 2011 Golden Globe Awards live online to see how funnyman Ricky Gervais handles his second year of hosting duties. The 68th annual Golden Globe's live telecast on NBC and online live streaming will begin at 8 pm ET. The red carpet specials, where celebrities will strut in the latest couture and shiny baubles, will start at 6 pm ET.

An award-winning entertainer-of-all-trades, Ricky Gervais, is also the creator of "The Office." He starred in the original English version of the television comedy. You might also recognize the actor from the movies "Ghost Town" (2008) and "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian" (2009). His biting wit leads to humor that is slightly more edgy, than slapstick. Although, he reportedly had a Hitler/Mel Gibson Golden Globes opening bit shot down by NBC execs.

Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic will be co-hosting E!'s Golden Globe red carpet pre-show. It will simultaneously air on television and E! Online, at 5 pm ET. The most interesting thing to watch for? Whether or not celeb power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (nominated) snub Seacrest again this year.
