30 Rock is a hilarious NBC comedy created by Tina Fey or Saturday Night Live fame. The show is also produced by Lorne Michaels and stars Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, Jenna Krakowski, and Kenneth Brayer.

The show follows the life of tv writer Liz Lemon and the difficulties she runs into as the showrunner for a late night sketch comedy show that bears a little bit of a resemblance to Saturday Night Live, or SNL as the cool kids call it. Tracy Jordan (Morgan's character) is the over the top multi-millionaire star of the show who takes up a lot of Lemon's time with idiotic and petty needs and attention getting stunts.

The writers of the show within the show are also really funny. The premise of the show is a gateway to some really funny comedy about show business and over the top personalities.

Alec Baldwin plays an executive at GE, the network's parent company, who is Liz's best friend. Baldwin and Fey have good chemistry and a lot of the jokes are about how "together" and successful Baldwin's character is and how loopy and sad Fey's late thirties single writer life is. The two actors are perfect for their characters.
