Witness Tiger Woods' Comeback in 3 Dimensional
Woods latest Nike commercial where Tiger's father speaks to him has America torn on whether or not it was appropriate. But don't expect that to divert Tiger Woods' game. Tiger came to play golf as he tees off with KJ Choi and Matt Kuchar.
Woods winning is in question due to his lengthy time away from the game. However, Tiger Woods has an incredible way of bouncing back and with the months of practice at his own course Woods actually has a shot of walking away with a 5th green jacket. It would be a great comeback, one has to admit. The odds, according to U.S. Masters Gambling Guru Networks [1], places Tiger at 7.00 odds.
The Master's leader board stands with Bernhard Langer leading at -3 under par, Tom Watson -2 with a David Toms sandwich. Today Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer started things off. To figure out where the golf pros stand visit the Masters. [2]
Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and, as you know, Tiger Woods have each won in past U.S. Masters Golf Tournaments.
But what will take the Masters to a hole in one when it comes to viewers? Some 3-D action. It's all about the landscape. Tournament officials and Comcast are trying to attempt the multi-camera 3-D production beginning at the Par 3 contest. A viewer will witness the green as if they were at Augusta themselves, including the azaleas that flow a colorful landscape scene. It would be interesting to see just what the golfers will be wearing since they too can come to life.
Mark Francisco [3], a Comcast spokesperson says it best on the Masters web site. "I've seen the Masters in high-definition, you know that's like looking out of the window at the tournament. Well, this is like looking out that window and seeing what's behind you."

Post a CommentI think it's fascinating that televisions are now able to incorporate 3D images.
I passed.
Good info, but the news will not be about the golf.
I don't care to watch him in one, two, three D or any other D's.
Great one!
I don't care who plays ... but watching golf -- a lot of the time -- is like watching grass grow. 3D or otherwise. As George Carlin opined ... it's guys chasing a ball with a crooked stick...
