Live video feed for the Rose Bowl Parade can be found at KTLA.com. The station will also be broadcasting live on television. Coverage is to start at 9 a.m. ET, on Jan, 1, 2011
KTLA's website also includes links to floats, bands, a band poll, the Grand Marshal, Royal Court and more.
Rose Parade Bandfest Online
Bandfest also streamed online for the first time in 2011. The event took place on Dec. 29-30, 2010, but video is still available to be watched. Viewers will be treated to the bands' different sounds and field formations. Over 20 bands lent their talent to Bandfest. Video can be found at the Tournament of Roses official website.
Online Voting for Floats and Bands
Viewers will be able to watch the parade, then vote online for their favorite floats and bands. Voting can be done through the official Rose Bowl Parade website. This will be the third year for the Viewers' Choice Awards to pick a winner.
What to Expect From Rose Parade 2011
This year's Rose Parade will include the traditional flower and nature adorned floats, from corporate and private sponsors. Many floats now feature animation.
Marching bands, a royal court and horses will also traverse the parade route.
Two new items for the 2011 Rose Bowl Parade are mustangs and an HGTV Dream Home float. The float is an exact replica of the home and garden network's newest Dream Home, a Vermont mountain lodge.
The parade will be followed by the Rose Bowl, the traditional New Year's Day college football game. This year's match-up squares off the Wisconsin Badgers against the TCU Horned Frogs.

Post a CommentGreat article! Happy New Year =0)
I was trying to watch the Rose Parade but when Part 2 was done there was no way to continue on to Part 3 as the video just kept replaying Part 2 or going back to Part 1. There should be a way to select the part to watch regardless of how many there are. Also the audio was weak even though the volume setting was all the way to the top. I had no audio problems with other displays.
