Watch This: Three Must See Internet Videos

Ok, let's face it, most of the videos posted on YouTube are junk. Can we really imagine the sad individual who would sit around all day just watching somebody's cat throw up or poorly done computer animation? Maybe it is just that some people are easily amused.

However, once in a great while, someone puts a video out, on the internet, which is truly of interest. You can tell the worth-your-while videos because they are usually emailed from person to person. Ever growing in popularity until they "go viral," that is to say, they become self sustaining because they are passed around so much over the internet.

Here are three that have recently made the email rounds and which seem to stand out on their own.

First we have Ms. Tamara Lowe of Christ Fellowship down in Florida. While some describe this as a type of "rap," others say it is more of a spoken rhyme. Whichever, it is clear that Ms. Lowe would make a heck of an auctioneer. The best part of this is the message she conveys in a way which today's culture can associate with. She also has a really good voice for this sort of thing.

Secondly we have the "Unicorn after wisdom teeth" video. One has to at least get a chuckle from this I-can't-believe-her-mom-really-posted-that-on-YouTube video. Miss Hanah Manry takes us along for a narrated trip to "the land of the blueberries" on her "magical unicorn" and then entertains us with her rendition of the Carmen rap, "JC (Jesus Christ) is in the house." And to think, my nineteen year old daughter thinks that I have done things to embarrass her. Hmm, she is due to have her wisdom teeth out soon. Now where did I put that camcorder?

On the plus side, this video has gotten Miss Manry onto the Ellen DeGeneres show. Perhaps she can parlay her micro-celebrity status into something good in her life.

Our third and final video could be considered controversial on so many levels. Yet, if you just look at it so see someone who can get rather worked up and who may personally be wound a bit too tight, then you may be able to appreciate the video a bit more. Even then, you either have to laugh your head off, cry, or watch it, with your jaw hanging open, in stunned disbelief. Mr. James David Manning can certainly get himself into a frenzy over his dislike for, as he calls President Obama, "the long legged mack daddy."

Being Caucasian myself, I was not really incensed about a lot of what Mr. Manning addresses. After listening to him I am ready to grab a pitchfork and a torch to take to the streets! Or maybe I'll just shake my head, watch the video again and quietly chuckle to myself. I offer it solely for the ferventness of his rhetoric and not to, personally, make any political, social, or racial message. Oh ok, his singing is just hilarious.

Now we can just sit back and wait for our email inbox to ding with the next amusing, amazing or shocking video.
