Watch TV and Movies Free at Hulu.Com

Hulu.com is great, new site that shows tons of full length movies and TV shows absolutely for free online. The best part is, the site keeps it legal by showing a few commercials during shows and movies. Another great thing about Hulu.com is that you don't have to sign up for a member ship to use the site; however, if you want to watch mature content, the site requires you to login. Fair enough.

Hulu host shows from many popular networks, such as; Comedy Central, PBS, USA Network, Bravo, Fuel, FX, Sci Fi Network, Style, Sundance, G4, and Oxygen. Some of the popular shows they show full episodes of include; The Office, Late Night With Conan Obrien, Arrested Development, Family Guy, SNL, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, News Radio, Nip/Tuck, and American Dad.

As of right now, Hulu hosts over 100 full length motion pictures, including: Naked Lunch, A Permanent Midnight, 28 Days Later, The Big Lebowski, Behind Enemy Lines, Jerry Maguire, Sideways, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Hulu is constantly adding new shows and movies to their library, so one can onely imagine how awesome this site will be in just a few more months, let alone a few more years.

I would predict that sites like Hulu are the wave of the entertainment future. As internet speeds grow faster and faster, and more and more people start spending less and less time in front of their TV, it seems as if Hulu is going to set a new trend. It may not be too long before owning a television or paying for cable becomes virtually obsolete.

I also wonder how a site like Hulu will affect Youtube and other sites that rely predominantly on user created content. Could be interesting to see how that pans out. So far, I am not aware of any Hulu competitors that offer the same content as legitimately, openly and reliably as Hulu. I'm sure it won't be too long before copycats start springing up all over the net. There may already be many that I'm just not aware of.

Anyways, if you're looking for a free way to entertain yourself online, I would definitely suggest checking out Hulu.com. It's cheaper than cable, it's on demand, and you can simultaneously check your email, pay your bills, and rot your mind. Really, what more could a person ask for? Thank goodness for the internet.
