This page will contain a lot of important information about the seller and the product for sale.
At the top of this page, there will be bold blue letters that say "Watch this item", then in regular black letters it will say "in My Ebay. You will need to click the bold blue letters. That is it. You are done. Now you can watch this item from your "My Ebay" page.
Before bidding on an item, sometimes it is a good idea to watch the item for a while, especially if there is a lot of time left on the sale. Following the above steps will make watching an item easy. "Buy It Now" Overview
Many sellers on Ebay have a "Buy It Now" button beside their time sensitive sale item (for example: concert tickets, sporting event tickets). "Buy It Now" means you do not have to wait until the end of the auction to win the item.
A buyer who uses the "Buy It Now" option is taken directly to pay for the item, using Paypal as the method of payment. Until the buyer completes the payment transaction, the item will remain available for purchase by other Ebay members. The first buyer to complete the payment transaction will win the item.
Once a buyer does complete the payment transaction, the sale ends. If the sale ends before anyone has completed the payment transaction, the sale ends with no buyer. The seller will then have the option to re-list the item.
As a buyer, you must have a Paypal account in good standing to use the "Buy It Now" feature. If you cannot pay with Paypal, you cannot win the item.
As a seller, there are some requirements to use the "Buy It Now" tool during their sale. To use the "Buy It Now" tool, the seller must:
- Have a Paypal Premier or Business account
- Specify a price not to exceed $2000
- Specify the shipping costs for the item, or include a shipping calculator in the listing for the item.
- Ship the item to the buyer's credit card billing address registered with Paypal.
"Buy it Now" is great for buyers who want to purchase an item, without worrying about being outbid, and are willing to pay the designated price to get it.
