Water Parks in Oklahoma

Looking for a water park in Oklahoma to cool off at this summer? Here are a few to help make your search a little easier.

Big Splash

The Big Splash water park season has opened up in Tulsa. Big Splash offers ten water attractions including, slides, tubes, pools and more. There is also a basketball and volleyball court as well as horseshoes. Special attractions include live entertainment, BINGO, paintball, dunk tank and others.

Life vests are available free of charge, lockers are free however they have no locks but one can easily be purchased at the park. Lifeguards are always on duty and all have completed a rigorous training program.

Water park hours are 10am to 6pm Monday through Thursday, 10am to 8pm Friday and Saturday, and 12pm to 6pm on Sundays. Monday September First is the last day of the 2008 season. General admission cost 419.95 plus tax with Sundays costing $12.95 plus tax. Group specials and birthday parties are also available.

Comanche National Water Park

Comanche National is 12 acres of fun for all ages. Splash around in Breaker beach Wave pool, go down a body, tube or speed slide. Relax in the lazy river or take the kids to Little Springs Lagoon. Food and drinks stands are available for those between rides, snack.

Park hours are from May 27 to August 18, after August 18, park hours will apply to weekends only. The park is open 10:30am to 6pm Monday through Wednesday, 10:30am to 8pm Thursday through Saturday and 13pm to 6pm on Sundays

Splash Zone

Attractions at Splash Zone include a very relaxing lazy river, a pool where half is for swimming and the other half for water games. Splash down the Drop Zone and ride the winding turns of the Zinger.

For the smaller children there is the Kiddie Cove with slides and other water activities. When hungry stop by The Barefoot Grill for a snack, lunch or dinner.

Splash Zone is open seven days a week from noon until 8pm, except on Sundays, the hours are 1pm to 7:30pm.

General admission cost 410, children between the ages of three and six cost $6 and children age two and under cost $2. Group rates and season passes are also available.

White Water Bay

Attractions at White Water include the Mega Wedgie, a speed slide that is 277 feet long and has a free fall drop of 64 feet into the pool below. Acapulco Cliff Dive is another speed slide wit free fall at the end. There is the Bermuda Triangle, Cannonball falls, Swashbuckler, Flumes Tube, Castaway Creek and more.

Kids can enjoy attraction at the Kids' Kove and will love jumping around at Shipwreck Island Activity Pool. The Big Kahuna holds four people and is a great family ride, with a splash at the end.

One-day adult general admission cost $21.99, children cost 417.99 and under age, two are free. Group and season passes are available as well.
