Imagine the Earth without water.
Perhaps the most common use for water is human and animal consumption. Consumption of water by humans and domesticated animals calls for sterilization processes, which, unfortunately waste water due to precipitation, but sterilization is necessary to avoid the transmission of viruses and bacteria and to remove other harmful substances.
Other uses for water include watering our grass, plants, and the crops that our fruits and vegetables come from. We use water to fill our swimming pools, to mix with detergent to create bubbles for the children to blow, and even to wash our clothes. We need water to take a shower or bath, flush a toilet, or even wash our hands.
Water is used in almost every recipe for the foods we make and even in the pre-made foods we buy packaged from the store. Every liquid requires some form of water to create it.
Water protects all the sea life by providing a shelter. Water is necessary to form ice, which cools us off.
Imagine the Earth without water.
Without water, life as we know it simply could not exist. There would be no plants, no animals, no humans. There is no known creature or plant that can sustain life without water. A human, on average, can only live three days without water. Our bodies are made up of mostly water. What would our bodies look like without water? Would we even exist? Would it be possible? Would any plant, animal, or even a simple cell be able to survive?
Without water there would be no rain to clean the Earth, no life, no growth. Without water, the Earth would be a dry and cracked landscape of nothingness without a purpose.
Imagine a large mass of land stretching on for miles and miles with no sign of life or movement. Even more frightening, it may be just a pile of dust. Without water, the masses we know as rocks simply cannot form. Rocks are formed by the water's movement against the Earth. Would this pile of sand the Earth may be without water just be a rough sand? Without water, it may not be possible for anything to be soft. Or, would it instead be a hard mass of something we have never before seen?
Imagine the Earth without water.
Water is a simply amazing resource.
