Neighborhood: Watford
Watford City, ND 58834
United States of America
When living in or around Watford City you have to be in the know to find good places to go and have that "Happy Hour Drink" with your friends or where to catch the Best movies or that Special dinner!

The first thing to know about Watford City, ND is that it is small! Very small! There are only about 2,000 people living in and around here, so crowds is usually not a problem. When planning a night out the first place you will want to stop is the Outlaw Shooters Steak House right in the very heart of Watford. It is located in the biggest building in the entire town so it is rather hard to miss. Once inside Outlaws Bar and Grill you will have the opportunity to have some Happy Hour drinks and appetizers or to order the Full Course Meal for supper. They both are delicious and not too expensive! Which is always a plus when it comes to dining out.

Once you have finished your after dinner drinks you should head on over to the 6 Shooter Film Hall and catch up on the latest movies that have been released. New movies are played every week, leaving everyone little time to get in on the action of this two theatre Showhall. Don't worry though as both theatres are very roomy with some really nice chairs and a leveled seating araingment so that you never have to get stuck behind that big headed person ever again! That can certainly ruin your whole movie hall experience right there! Of course all the major condiments are available with over 8 different types of sprinkling that you can put over your Movie Theatre style Popcorn! Delicious!!!

After the show you should head on over to the City Bar, which coincidentally is located right across the street. The City Bar is by far the most hopping of the several different bars that are featured in town, and by far offers the greatest array of entertainment. With a pool table, 5 dartboards, a big screen tv along with several other smaller ones, a quarter machine to play fun games, and of course the town favorite Pulltabs! The City Bar has a wide array of drinks and shots that they offer up with a big heaping of cheap appetizers to top it all off!

If you would rather avoid the crowd you can always pop on over to the Legion Club that is located right next door or even down a couple of buildings and go over to Rick's Office for some rest and relaxation with the owner, who happens to be the bartender. Always good conversation.

If all that doesn't suit your fancy you can always drive just a little ways out of town out to the Eagle's Club for a down home atmosphere complete with Black Jack tournaments and pulltabs, just don't expect up to date music! They are just a little set in there ways at 1990. Not much changes out there except for the occassional fill in bartender, so you are always assured of some good friendly service with a smile.

Sadly Bismarck is not much better. We do have more theaters, though, so movies stay here longer, giving you more time to see them! Clubs? Dancing? Nah. A couple of bars sometimes have bands on Saturdays, or even Fridays, but it's usually country -western, and usually starts past my bedtime! We do have a symphony orchestra, ballet, and a community theatre with more enthusiasm than talent - they do pretty well on comedy; so well that even their dramas make you laugh... Great leads, but don't expect me to drive on over anytime soon!
