Make sure that your hair is dry before you begin. Then cut one lemon in to four wedges. Squeeze them in to a cup. Remove any seeds that may have landed in the cup. Then add three tbsp. of water to the lemon juice and mix together. Spread over your dry hair. Wait three to four hours before taking a shower or rinsing the lemon solution out of your hair.
Method #2
Take out a saucepan and add two cups of water. Then pour in two cups of already brewed chamomile tea. Add one tbsp. of lemon juice, and one tbsp. of parsley. Both the lemon juice and the chamomile are hair lighteners. Bring your mix to a boil and then lower the temperature setting to simmer. Cook another 15 minutes before removing from the heat. Let it sit until it reaches room temperature. Strain out the parsley and place the mixture on your hair. You don't have to let it sit long before you rinse it out. Then blow dry your hair.
Tip: You can also use this mixture as a spray in an empty spray bottle. Just spray it on your hair whenever you go out to lounge in the sun.
Method #3
Start off with a head full of dry hair. Take out an empty spray bottle to add your ingredients to. First, cut up four lemons and squeeze the juice out of them. Be sure to remove any seeds or they will get stuck in the spray bottle. Next, add a quarter of a cup of olive oil. Olive oil protects your hair from drying out. Finish by adding a quarter of a cup of chamomile tea. The chamomile tea will also work to lighten your hair. Mix these ingredients together and spray directly on your hair. Sit out in the sun for one hour. Repeat this cycle every hour for three hours until your hair is the shade you desire it to be.
Caution: Bring sunblock with you so that you don't burn.
Notes:
Always be sure to check a piece of hair with your homemade bleach solution before using it on your whole head. Take a piece of hair from the back, and make sure it is underneath the rest of your hair so no one will see it if the solution turns your hair a color you don't like. Wait 24 hours after testing that strand of hair to determine whether the solution has given you the results you were looking for.
