If you are on a budget and need a babysitter so that you and your mate can have some alone time ask either one of your close friends or even a relative can they watch over the kids for a few hours. If there grandparents are close by then take them to spend a little time with there grandparent's so that you and your spouse can have some alone time. Getting alone can be hard sometimes, but it is highly needed to keep a relationship together in more ways then one.
There are plenty of things that can be done to get in that quality time like date night, even have lunch together in between work hours. If you are at home give the kids toys or something constructive to do so that you can share each others time alone. Playing board games have known to be fun. Not only can you play together, but you can put the kids to bed a little early some nights so that you can have alone time together.
Something like during yard work together, reading the newspaper, snacking together anything that can be done together for alone purposes should be done because in any relationship alone time is very important. If your job is in the same area then car pool together. There is always a way to make this work if you put the time and effort into making it happen. Being married, or being in a relationship with kids is hard work if you want it to last and be great at the same time, but it can be done and will work out great only if you make time. Something as little as going for a walk or jog together can improve your relationship as far as time. Take days just for the two of you and share each other be bother by no knocks on the door, and turn off the cell phone and just make time. Time is not on your side with this fast pace society you have to make time for each other cause it's so short so try it, and you will see that every little bit adds up.
