Another way to tell if some one is ignoring you is if when you have plans with them they cancel or change plans around. Odds are if this happens all the time they don't want to be around you or have you over to their house. They may say something such as well we're not doing anything real big its really just going to be a few people and family. They may also say well it's going to be on this date and then change it and then tell you oh well we have changed it to this date but we will understand completely if you can't come or if you are busy. When they do this not only are they ignoring you they obviously for some reason do not want you around them or want you to talk and see them.
Many people do this and make up excuses so they won't have to be mean and confront you by telling you that you aren't invited or that they just don't want to be around you. Another way to know if someone is ignoring you is by them telling you that they are not talking to you. They may not be talking to you for a number of reasons such as you may have just had a really big fight. They may be mad at you for some unknown reason or they just may not like you because of something they have done. They may even feel guilty about something that they have done to you and don't want to have to confront you.
No matter what you do getting ignored hurts a lot. You may get ignored by that best friend who is mad at you for maybe talking to the guy she likes. You may also get ignored by a family member who totally disapproves of what you are doing in your life at that time. You may also get ignored by a family member, who is jealous of you that just don't want you around because they fear that you are better than them,
Ways to prevent being ignored is if you get into a fight and it was your fault apologize let them know what you did was wrong and that you would like to fix it. If you are the one that is ignoring you should think about the consequences if you just got into a fight with your best friend that's a girl over a guy or if you are a guy and just got into a fight with your best guy friend over a girl you should think about the future of your friendship. You should think if a girl or guy is really worth losing your friendship over. If they aren't worth losing your friendship you should try and work things out.

Yes, very good article. I really like the way that you line it all up and close it with sound advice. Being ignored is really hurtful and isolates you completely. Resolution, however, is the right step.
