Ways to Save Money when Going to Clubs in Seattle

Corey Roberts
If you are going crazy and want to get out of house and go dance, but do not have the funds to do so, then there are a few clubs that are "budget friendly" in the Seattle area.

Pre-Game or Pre-Funk

The poor man's bible is includes drinking before going to the clubs. Alcoholic beverages in a club are very expensive and the tab can add up after a few drinks. Make sure to drink enough at a pre-club destination in order to get a buzz before going to the club. This way you will already be ready to be party once you hear the hard thumping bass beats. Also, if you do not have a house to go to pre-game, you will always have the choice of going to happy hour and then hitting up a club. Most areas in Belltown have happy hours and you can check out this website to see which restaurants are dealing out what. http://www.seattletravel.com/seattle-happyhour-belltown.htm

Sign-up for the Guest List

Most clubs in Seattle have an online guest list that you can sign up for. These guest lists have free or discounted cover depending on the club. Trinity and Venomhave free cover before 11pm if you sign up for the guest list. If you before 10pm at Trinity, you can get free cover, get your hand stamped and come back later when the club is packed. Paying cover is a big waste of time and planning ahead is a cost effective way to reduce the amount of money spent at the time. Besides, that $15 cover can go towards drinks, cab rides and parking. If you are worried about the club being lame, then you can get your hand stamped and come back later when it's busier. If you do not like Trinity, then try out the Last Supper Club, there's no cover if you're on the guest list and in the club by 9:30pm. Otherwise, there's a reduced $5 cover.

Drink Specials

Try and go to clubs with drink specials. Usually clubs will have a special of the night and will promote this drink during a certain time. If you are not a picky drinker, then go with the drink that they are pushing as it will be cheapest choice. The alternative is not to drink at all.
