WDW Magic Kingdom: Fantasyland (Pt 2)

Fantasyland has the most rides in its square footage than any other land in the park. Along with that fact the rides are short, sweet and fun. And they are all made for young children. In a nutshell this is usually the busiest land of all the park.

Fantasyland: Ariel's Grotto, Cinderella Castle, Cinderella's Golden Carousel, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, "It's a small world", Mad Tea Party, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Peter Pan's Flight, Snow White's Scary Adventures, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Pooh's Playful Spot.

Mad Tea Party is a giant spinning attraction. Those who get sick easily should not ride this attraction. I repeat, do not ride if you get sick from spinning, and quickly at that. The ride is not a fast spinning ride, but your kids or party members can change that. Your ride vehicle is a giant tea cup. Your cup rotates with a giant wheel in the center of the cup, Your cup is in a group of three cups on a rotating circle that is on top of a master rotating circle.

So big circle, medium circle, and then you, so the spinning happens on multiple levels. This ride is very fun for all ages whether you are spinning fast or trying to counteract the spins so you don't spin at all (which is a challenge). The worst part of this ride is the load time, which affects lines. The ride is just like Dumbo. People get on, ride starts, people get off and more people get on. This line is anywhere from medium to long during the day. In the late evening, and during lunch and dinner periods the line does get shorter.

Mickey's PhilharMagic is a very neat 3-D show for all ages. It follows the misadventures of Donald along a musically whimsical adventure. Sounds fun right? It is, the theater is cool and comfy. And the screen is just like an IMAX theater, except a little bigger I think. The show is appropriate for all ages and is very well done I think.

Peter Pan's Flight is one of the most popular rides in Fantasyland. I don't know why or how but this ride always has some type of line during the day. It is one of the neatest attractions in the theme park. Your ride vehicle is suspended in air by the tracks above you. So you fly through the Pater Pan story on a pirate ship. This is another all ages attraction. I do suggest hitting this one first in the day or late before the park closes.

Snow White's Scary Adventures is a very simple ride. The ride tells the story of the movie in about four minutes. Nothing spectacular here. I enjoy it, others don't so this ride can go either way.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is another ride that captivates the people. This ride is amazing and fun to ride and I highly suggest this attraction. So either get it done first thing in the morning or late at night. All ages will enjoy this ride even adults I bellieve. The ride is slow, cute, fun and has some very interesting effects both in the ride and ride vehicle.

Pooh's Playful Spot is a playground for your kids. Nothing special here other than fun for the little ones and a break for adults.
