We Don't Understand

We Are Human, Take His Hand

Stephanie R. Barry

We don't understand,
God says we never do,
We are human, take His hand.

God chose man to stand,
He laid down rules,
We don't understand.

God gave us the option of the Promised Land,
But we waver and wonder,
We are human, take His hand.

Plenty of knowledge goes bland,
We don't read He says,
We don't understand.

God gives a submissive and solvent will plan,
This lays down the Laws for you,
We are human, take His hand.

Then in the end we wonder why,
In heaven we can't get in,
We don't understand,
We are human, take His hand.
