We Are Fundamentally Strong!

Tony Jingo
As we hit the final lap of this presidential race, I planned on publishing like wild fire. What happened? Life happened; work, family, pain, joy, stress, and rest. I'm not complaining just talking. Like many Americans, I was knocked around by the economy. I certainly have the bruises to prove it, but I also have many blessings to count.

During the Bush administration, I unloaded a house and recently purchased another one. During the same administration, I went bankrupt twice, not as per chapter 7 or 11 but literally as in no more dough. This simple guy had the benefit of being a man with a plan. I was able to rebuild. I also married a gal with the same goals I had and have. Together we are continuing to achieve via blood, sweat, and tears; again literally.

You may have noticed I prefaced the above paragraph with the mention of Bush. Why? Because many of you blame him for all of life's woes, including the current economic crisis we are in. I have pointed a finger at him as well. I believe Bush dropped the ball due to weak leadership and a failure to utilize his bully pulpit. That, however, is not the entire story.

In 2003, President Bush attempted to pass the most significant regulatory overhaul in our nation's history, specifically to supervise Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The mainstream media (MSM) a corrupt and morally bankrupt institution will not tell you that. Why? Because they are an extension of the Obama campaign.

The MSM will not tell you which politicians currently in office were complicit or outright culpable in this current economic turmoil, namely Barney Frank and Chris Dodd; you can read about that here. The MSM won't tell you how Obama averted his eyes from the threat and blatant signs of this economic downturn, you can read about that here, while there check out the video. The MSM won't tell you about McCain's valiant attempt to actually do something to prevent the economic damage to our nation; you can read about that here as well.

The point, however, is that my failures were a result of my own policies. My accomplishments were a result of my own efforts allowed to be realized not as a result of Republican or Democratic policies, but as a result of American policies.

As Free Americans we are the captains of our destiny and we determine what part of the American dream we are to go after and realize.

If I sell my house, Barack Obama promises to penalize me with a higher tax penalty. If you liquidate your stocks to purchase my house, Barack Obama will penalize your gain. If we choose to work harder or purchase the business in which we earn, Barack Obama again promises to penalize our success. Ladies and gentlemen this should insult and infuriate you. We the people should have the Freedom to succeed without governmental penalty, without the threat of income redistribution.

It is easy for a national leader to demand more money from hardworking citizens, even those in the same income bracket, for the purse in which he controls the strings. Obama's plan to "spread the wealth around" is not a noble concept. It is income redistribution and a tenet of Socialism, which is the little sister to Communism. Beware of the Change you Hope for.

The current administration and political climate is the correct temperature for this perfect political storm. As a result, millions of frustrated, angry, and willfully uninformed Americans are lining up to vote for anyone, Patriots need not apply, that doesn't share the same suffix (R) as Bush and Cheney. Logic be damned, for the subversive that can earn your respect and vote can share the same suffix as Nancy Pelosi, Reid, Frank, and Dodd.

We are currently living in times of uncertainty regarding national security. Newsflash: The U.S. is actively engaged in a Global War against Terrorism. Our national defense took a basement seat to the economy. Granted our economy is a very important and critical issue, however, it should share the stage with another important and critical issue; national security.

During such serious times we need a leader that will inspire confidence in our markets and inspire confidence in our troops. Obama has done neither. Barack Obama has mocked the fundamental strength of our economy. Obama has ridiculed McCain for refusing to throw American confidence under the bus.

That misguided 700 billion dollar bailout package that both candidates voted for would not have been possible if the fundamentals of our economy were not strong.

I would not have been able to reap the rewards of hard work under a successful system of capitalism if not for the fundamentally strong economy of the U.S.

Many of our neighbors that have suffered the setback of foreclosures have the ability to rebuild within a Free society because the fundamentals of the U.S. are strong.

This does not mean the bull is not hurt. It is seriously injured and down on a knee. The bull needs more than a placebo and will be further damaged by weak handlers. We need handlers that understand the strength of the animal and that the animal is worthy to be rescued not sacrificed.

The strongest back can be broken and can only handle so much weight. We need relief not the burden of more taxes and more spending.

The choice is clear and the American leader with a record of accomplishments, proven Patriotism, and a zeal for Freedom and the continued success of America has my vote.

Ditto Shanika and Pat's words especially. Unfortunately, unlike yourself, too many ignorant Americans DON'T believe in proven Patriotism, a zeal for Freedom and the continued success of America
