We Must Not Offend the Tea Party

Don't raise the debt ceiling.

The tea party might get upset.

Oh sure our economy might go down in flames,

But have no worry or regret.

We might end up in a depression.

Our dollar may plunge overnight.

But you don't want to make the tea party angry.

It just isn't decent or right.

Our stocks and mutual funds may become worthless.

The world may have an economic collapse.

But we must not offend the tea party,

Or they just might shudder and gasp.
