I am sick of being politically correct. Why can't I say someone is a black person? They say that I am a white person. A great deal of black people aren't even African American. Should we say Jamaican American to make them happy, or Dominican Republican American? What about the Africans or the Jamaicans or the Dominican Republicans that aren't black, are they still in that category? Why can't I start WET (White Entertainment Television) when they have BET (Black Entertainment Television)? Why are we so sensitive about everything? Gay people have different tastes than straight people--we are not equal, people! Marriage is between a man and a woman -- gay marriage is simply a misnomer! It does not exist, nor should it exist! All legal unions are not created equal! Why fight to be the same as heterosexual people when you are gay -- isn't being gay part of your identity? Why fight to be white when being black is part of who you are! Why do women feel that they must be different than who they are. We are all different--we should embrace that difference and live in peace with each other. We should not be so concerned with what everyone thinks about what we say, who cares if we offend someone, who cares if someone offends us? Grow up, people!
You are right to say that White-Male-Heterosexual people seem to have an advantage over everyone else. But instead of trying to be a WMH, why not create the advantage in your favor! Certainly black people have the advantage with sports, or with rapping (pretty much the entire music industry right now!) Create your own advantage -- live your own identity.
Politically correctness will be the downfall of our society.
