We Want More Vick!

This will be a big season for the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick. After serving a two year prison sentence, Michael was waiting for his change to get on the field to show people that he still is a threat at quarterback in the NFL. It was a perfect fit for Michael Vick to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles. Vick is not forced to come in to a team and perform. He can now relax and take the time in preseason as well as in the regular season to get himself back into top shape. Andy Reid the head coach of the Eagles is known for taking troubled players and helping them succeed in their second chance in the NFL.

The Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid believes in Michael Vick. Andy Reid has played Vick about five plays a game in the first half of the season. All of the plays that Michael Vick is in the game he is playing the game as the wild card quarterback. Most of the time when he comes in the game it is on a 3^rd and short situation.

Michael Vick can still be a star in the NFL. The Philadelphia Eagles in to incorporate Michael Vick into the offense more than just five times a game. Michael Vick is too great of an athlete to sit on the bench for most of the game. Andy Reid needs to play Vick more as a wide receiver to get him on the field at the same time as Donovan McNabb. By putting McNabb and Vick on the field at the same time, it gives the offense the big play opportunity. The Eagles can run the reverse or double reverse with Michael Vick and DeSean Jackson plus if the defensive safety comes up to make a play on the ball Vick can pass the ball over his head.

In week 11 the Philadelphia Eagles were at the Chicago Bears. The Eagles are tiring to stay in the hunt for the playoffs. The Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants won their game for week 11 and in order for the Eagles not to drop a game on them they needed to beat the Chicago Bears. On the first and second drive of the game the Eagles had three big 3^rd down situation where they brought in Michael Vick. All three plays he made the right read and the Eagles picked up the first down. On one play Vick ran up the middle of a huge 31 yard gain. The Eagles won the game 24 to 20. They play the Washington Redskin next week. The Eagles need to incorporate Vick more into the game.
