A 2010 We Are the World remake is being created to benefit Haiti. In this 2010 remake of We Are the World, there seems to be around 100 music stars taking part in helping sing the remake. This is the 25th anniversary of when We Are the World Was first released by the big music stars of 1985, and with co-writers Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie at the wheel it became a smash success. Now the song is being brought out once again to be used as a way to help the people of Haiti after the devastating earthquake, and it seems like every big name in the music industry wants to be a part of this effort.

This seems like one of the best kept secrets in the music industry right now, because nobody had put together a list of who had been invited to participate in the recording of this latest track. The musicians were meeting today in order to complete the re-made version of We Are the World, and finally some of the names are being revealed. Among the superstars of music that are taking part in the 2010 remake of We Are the World, we have Lady Gaga, Barbra Streisand, Justin Timberlake, Celine Dion, Enrique Iglesias, Fergie, Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Eminem. It's an amazing list of music artists, and when the final list is revealed this is sure to become a huge success on the music charts.

When the first version of We Are the World was released back in 1985, Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Quincy Jones, and Michael Omartian were responsible for putting the wonderful group of artists together. Some of the biggest artists of the time to take part were Richie, Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Tina Turner, Willie Nelson, Bruce Springsteen, Cyndi Lauper, Bob Dylan, Ray Charles, and Diana Ross just to name a few. It was a great event, and it helped send the We Are the World single to #1 in music charts around the world. It even made it on the US Country charts as well as to #1 in the French singles charts. Look for We Are the World 2010 to find similar success.

We will update this article when we find out all the artists helping out in creating the 2010 We Are the World remake.
