"We Are the World.."

As a child, you know what to have imagination is, you know what it means to truly believe. Until you are faced with realities of life, you live happily. To live with imagination is in a way to live without worries. To grow up and become something you always had dreamed of becoming has to do with turning your imagination into the real world. Now-a-days, we don't grasp that concept. Dreams are fading and negativity has begun to take place in this world. I have even met a six year-old who know Santa Claus doesn't even exist. We, as adults, need that innocence of our children. We need to preserve that, so they can keep that positivity and those innocent beliefs in their lives. Children are losing their innocence by being exposed to this world of murderers, cruelty, deceit, and so much hate.

Televisions, computers and video games have taken place in their lives instead of spending time with their mother and fathers. People just don't notice how serious it has gotten. I couldn't imagine coming home after a long day of work and just allow my son to watch television all day. The time I have with him is so precious, and we never know what tomorrow brings. Maybe this is why there is so much violence among the young nation in these days. Have we forgotten our parent morals? We need to be their support system, we need to be there to help them and understand them. No technology can take the place parents, so we must do our job. We all desire that certain need, a need of love. What me make of ourselves will reflect on our children. I can even say I've been through Hell and back again, but I will never look back or show any lack of positivity because I know that can influence my child and how he reacts. He only and always will know what Love is. Love conquers all the hate and evil. You are that resource for that love. They will look up to your for that, because no love compares to what a father or mother has for their son or daughter.
